Multiculturalism has failed spectacularly, there are multi cultures because people have different cultures which they wish to preserve.

I've no real gripe with immigration I passed through an Asian quarter in Oldham a couple of years ago (I was looking for Maple Mill) I did feel uncomfortable because I got alot of filthy looks (a few weeks later there were riots maybe that had something to do with it) I stopped at a Post Office for directions and the Asian owners were very friendly.
I'm not trying to pass any real comment (I have several Asian friends Hindu and Muslim, my future wife's Chinese) but the true test of multi-culturalism (for all sides) is would you want your sister going out with one of "them"?
