The like's i'me afraid have alway's existed, they just keep
growing in number. Not a pretty sight are they.
a nation of shiftless, idle scroungers wiith no incentive or inclination to work, with fewer morals and a lack of education.

Was that the sort of inflammatory comment you wanted?

I know just what you were thinking sambro........ I thanked God when I heard she was safe. But I cringed all the way through the subsequent interviews with the local community............ I also thanked God that I do not have to live in a place like that.
steve.5, I tried to keep it as polite as i could.

Appearances, NO SELF PRIDE ,The females in particular.
in other word's RIFF RAFF. THEY are there in every country
and alway's have been, & alway's will be.
I really hate to say this but I do agree with you, however, I was amazed at the support that was given by the neighbours which goes to show how close these communities are.
It all seems very strange though.Sharons name is Mathews like her mother, her step-dad who is only 22 is called Craig Meehan, and her father is called Leon Rose.
It will be interesting to find the outcome of her disappearance.
Well doesn't this say it all eh?! As soon as a little girl's found safe and sound, people are pulling her parents - and community - down. These people may not have the luxuries of others, but they have feelings.
I`ve heard quite a few people comment about her family before she was found, it`s the class thing...you see how they look and judge them by that

Where was David Beckham and Richard Branson with their appeals and donations this time?..whereas with Maddie and her "well to do" parents the media and celebs were all over them

Mind you the family did look like a bunch of oddballs so it`s hardly surprising no-one offered to help cos they all thought they were involved in it
Just heard on news that when mother met Shannon yesterday she wasn't allowed to touch her.

Something very odd here.
Had to laugh when I saw the leftover rubbish from the 'community celebration' the next morning and a young lad with half a broom 'cleaning up'.
She wasn't allowed to touch her daughter Doc because it may have destroyed or contaminated any forensic evidence on Shannon.
the mother has seven children by five different fathers.
How on earth can the mother sort out how much each father is contributing to his child's/children's upbringing? Must be confusing.
They looked like guests from the Jerry Spinger show. Trailer park trash.
judging by the news coverage, i would say that area should be renamed minger city,

what a hideous load of people, i reckon there should be a redistribution of wealth.......

spend less on chips and more on soap!

expected to see someone in the corner of the picture with grim teeth playing a banjo to seduce his sister
steve.5 . what you are saying is ,RIFF RAFF of this country is down to Margaret Thatcher [ LOL ] {sarcastic} answer,

I DO'NT THINK SOOOOOOOO!!
OLIVER TWIST DAY'S ring any bell's sir.
Gypsified people are there in EVERY COUNTRY.
& alway's have been. I enjoy a second home in Spain , since mid 80s .Like it or not the Spanish shove their unatractive riff raff to the back of the mountain's.
I totally agree with you.

This country is sadly full of DSS losers whose only joy in life is to gamble, drink Special Brew and smoke Mayfair cigarettes.

It has nothing to do with Baroness Thatcher, nor the Tories. In fact John Major tried to establish his "Classless Society".

This was not the erradication of class systems, they should always stay, but he was championing a society of classless access to education, health and social infrastructure. His vision, with laid foundations by Maggie herself, was a true meritocracy in Great Britain.

Until Blair came along, he was doing a good job.

Now with a decade or so of Labour filth, GB has gone to the dogs.

Scum like Shannons family are there because this foul government spends millions on handouts and benefits because that is what Labour do. It is the last bastion of their "Socialist" message.

These people although smelly, inbred and ignorant are actually not that bad off. It is their choice to live amongst filth and incest and their choice not to wash and get a job. Why should they when they have everything they need given free to them??

And this way of life will keep going. The girls walk around like sperm cement mixers carrying seed from as many different men as possible in order to get pregnant. The men walk around dragging their knuckles looking for suitable mating partners (anything over the age of 12 will suffice).

These social groups can be seen on any episode of David Attenborough. They are animals. They survive on territorial fighting, pro-creation, scrounging for food and fighting.

This kind of sums up Labour's New Britain.
Elvis. I don't think your comparison between Madeline McCann's disappearance (and her middle class parents) and Shannon Matthews' (and her underclass parents ((as they are being referred to here)) is valid.
There was such an outpouring from celebs and the people of the UK because she was abducted, in a foreigh country and the Portugese police seemed to be making a such a hash of their investigations, that people wanted to fund the appeal and highlight it, as it could have worldwide implications. Which country she was/is in is also unknown.
The Shannon case was in this country and the whole country could see how the police were working and were kept up to date by full media coverage of events. In Portugal, if you remember, the police would not give out any details of their investigations.
It is easy to jump on the "class" bandwagon if you don't think too deeply.
Abdulmajid............. can't agree with your blaming Labour for the benefits system that supports these people . They , and the system were in place long before labour came to power. It was the Tories that put all the miners on the scrap heap, etc. I have to say though, that although I do not believe Labour are responsible for their existence in the first place, they have a responsibility to make these people pay their way in society. No one should should be able to milk the system like this.

Ice Maiden...... These people may have feelings but they have no shame. As for luxuries, who are you trying to kid? I bet most of them have computers and satellite dishes etc. plus the ultimate luxury of not having to leave a warm bed on a cold winter morning to go to work.
Abdulmajid : Excellent post !

My post's are, matter of fact straight to the point , as i hate writing. Face 2 face or telephone no prob's.
Thankfully, there are people like yourself who do go to the trouble . thankyou x
