Doesn't it make you sick the way Mugabe "swans" around in his designer suits and designer spectacles when his people are
starving oppressed etc. He is not the only
dictator the world has seen but I hope is ousted
soon

African goverments all over IMO.
Doesn't it make you sick the way Gordon Brown "swans" around in his designer suits and one eye when his people are forking out for eastern Europeans and muslims and the criminal has more rights than the victim etc. He is not the only tw@t the world has seen but I hope is ousted soon.
Yes a problem in Africa generally. The west helps to grow these corrupt dictators.

The US pays bribes to leaders of oil rich countries like Nigeria and other West African countries, so they get total rights to the country's mineral reources. This gives African leaders a lavish lifestyles, whilst the small people get poorer and suffer more.
I cant see him going quietly. He is an evil monster. I would like to see him get what he deserves. Whats the betting that if he is ousted he will go into exile with millions?

persianlady I agree, you find people like him who
fall in S??t come up smelling of roses ! hope not
he is evil!! I hope he doesn't find "sanctuary"
in another country!
My prediction.....

Whilst Mugabe is a sick tyrant, i suspect the other non elected tyrant does more harm before he leaves his post.

Obama looks like winning the democratic nomination and therefore the presidency. If he does, i honestly believe Bush will attack Iran.

The neocons need a continuation of war, Obama won't give them that option. Thus Bush will remove more of the US constitution to enable him to stay in power.
You mean if he DOESN'T , Bush will attack Iran?
Good riddance to Magabe - but there are others, in Iran, Korea....
You missed the US Ice....
And i hope you meant North Korea,
Yes, I meant the north, dabees. Dreadful.

I can't speak for the US, because I have relatives there, but they're just as concerned about any warmongering as the rest of us.
Iran's government was democratically elected Ice, just because the US has a disagreement with them, is that reason to start a war with them?
It's never a good to start ANY war.
Agreed, but i'm sure others on here will disagree.
I'm just thinking the Us are showing how much of hypocrits they are attacking Iran AFTER attacking Iraq. Weren't they Iraq's allied during the Iran-Iraq war in the 80's? Goes to show that politics have little to do with what the population wants, and more to do with what an opportunistic governing body think is the best economic option at that point in time.
Sorry about the typos.
Governments of all countries try to brainwash the masses, be it via the media or actions, but that's another thought completely.

I must say that I don't think ANY country should have nuclear power, because it can always be used as a threat, and governments are only interested in money - oil, trade, whatever - and sometimes that comes at a dreadful cost to the ordinary people. I agree max - leaders are often in cahoots with others, despite seeming animousity.
Thay saying that power corrupts is never truer. Once they assume power they hate to relinquish it. Just look at recent history:

Blair
Thatcher
Mugabe
couldnt care less about him or his country, its a shame some of you dont spend more time worrying about whats happenning to your own country.

i love the way all the lefties are getting their pants in a twist "oh its not a fair election " blah blah blah blah, like ours is

It is possible to be interested in both. It's like being able to walk and breath at the same time.

I don't think you'll find many ballot boxes in UK ellections stuffed full of votes from towns with no population Baz!

I think Mugabe is on his last legs.

I hope when he's gone all the hawks will see that change can happen without use sending in troops every time
