Consignia is the new umbrella name for the Post Office, Royal Mail and Parcelforce. It has just confirmed that it was making 30,000 staff redundant.
It is cutting jobs to save 1.2bn because it had a 281m loss in the first six months of this year, compared with a 113m loss the year before.
