I'm sad to read this, as only just being 21, I used to love Smart and watched it alot and thought he was cool.

I knew that he had gone missing, and the previous stories, but didnt think this was how it would end!

How come they have only just found him though? Mind you, I dont know Paddington Station so hmm.

I can't say I knew much about Mark Speight until the news about his girlfriend dying from a drug overdose.

However, our Grandchildren enjoyed watching his prog's & were quite upset on hearing the news about him today.

Very sad for both families & I'm sure he'll be missed by many - whatever the reasons.

sad to hear this news, he obviously had not got over his girlfriends death, my daughter loves watching smart and smarteenies, especially his part in it.

I only hope that people will realise that nothing good comes from taking cocaine.

As for anyone pontifiicating about drugs etc scum etc -they are dead and nothing can bring them back so if there arent words of wisdom or indeed sympathy is this the place for it ATM.NO.
Its a bloody shame and anyones thoughts should be with the families left to deal with this terrible double tragedy which they will never get over for the rest of their lives.

This is just another example of a tragic series events to be filed under 'A life gone wrong due to too much money' as per the same way Amy Winehouse, Pete Docherty etc are going.

Most people are too busy trying to keep a job, mortgage, family on the go to be able to afford to stuff their lives up so dramatically. You can keep yer fame and fortune.

heard this on the news tonight and it made me sad. I have been watching Mark Speight on the telly for a few years now, he always had that something special that made him a good presenter. Sad waste of a young life!

seems he actually hanged himself several days ago in a part of the station where nobody goes; they've only just found him.
