>christ they live better than our soldiers!.

And many pensioners !

And the prisoners dont have to pay council tax or for their food or heating.
Surely building a few prison ships would be better than your ******* ridiculous idea?
Why how much do our soldiers pay for drugs?

He also said there were no go areas in gaols because he didn't have sufficient resources?

No agenda there then!

Of course Having Sky in common areas doesn't help whey you're locked up 23 hours out of 24.

I haven't personally visited many gaols ( I'll guess not many here have - even those with strong opinions)

But I rather suspect that there's a huge variation between them and that some are quite comfortable and others are miserable hell holes.

mamjet, what a tw@t, LH that is a work of genius! Saves money galore, puts the criminal scum in a proper nick and pretty much makes sure they won't want to go back! Just what is the downside then mampratt eh? Tell you what why don't you put them up in your own place that's probably a harsher existance than HM jails at the mo. Bit of bl00dy midnight express thuggery and bugg3ry bl00dy top idea!
The downside is that it would involve at least 2 countries having to completely change their sovereignity and extradition laws. Which isnt going to happen. So it's unworkable. It'll never happen. Slight drawback in any plan, you ******* retard.
Question Author
why is it ridiculous mamjet? They know how to do prision in some countries you know. They are less worried about the ooman rights of lowlife scum than we are.

Thanks for your appreciation Geezer!

Jake, if they are miserable hell holes why are they full? Are you saying the chap is lying about drugs, breakfast in bed etc? They should be miserable hell holes we should create ex criminals who are hell bent on not going back to those "miserable hell holes"
Question Author
err are you saying agreements between 2 soveriegn nations could not be made? why would soverignty have to change? Ok what if they could? what's the downside now? over to you Mr Mamjet
Try reading my last answer a little bit slower.

But you're right, it's a great idea, much better than building prison ships, eh?

What other great ideas have you got?

Brain transplants?
Time-machines?
Hover-shoes?

Do tell...
Question Author
All you are doing is buying a service from another nation.
Question Author
Which other answer? prison ships? does not solve the problem. The basic issue is that we run jails like holiday camps and we need to find an alternative.

Sovreigienty? Why would that need to change?
Extradition laws? we are not extraditing anyone we are merely hiring a service for a fee from another country, why can you not grasp that?

You need to get past you anger that someone has he temerity to suggest a radical alternative that some how is abhorrent to your own liberal view. Why don't you have a go at telling me why you think it won't work rather than throwing insults.

No I'm saying he's deliberately twisting things.

If you're locked in a cell 23 out of 24 hours and someone shoves your meals through a slot of course you get "breakfast in bed"!!!
well, you tell me, Loosehead... if they're so wonderful, are you going to break in to one? Or do you perhaps feel that it is, after all, better to be outside and free?
Question Author
well they wouldn't let me stay if I did! Besides I have no drugs to sell!
Baking soda would do... but seriously, would you give up your freedom for the privilege of getting Sky and 'breakfast in bed'? I wouldn't.
wooooooo mamjet, that's all you can do, you lefty prats gob off with no counter argument. Who's the kin retard now eh?
Get a brain R1

Your "suggestion" is compared to the status quo.

Nobody needs a counter proposal because the existing system is it!!

I think we know who the "kin retard is"
Question Author
I would not jno but prison is a deterrent to me. To those inside clearly it is an easier life than having to work and pay bills. We have the illusion of liberty, those inside must have a different attitude, clearly career criminals do not consider jail a punishment because it's very comfy whilst in there, certainly a lot easier than many pensioners and low paid workers have it.
We have a few members of AB who've been iside Loosehead.

Strangely none of them seem to want to go back.

I just think they might have a better perspective than you on the situation.

Or have you ever been inside one?
Question Author
So apart from a little Geezer bashing you lefties have no argument with the outsourcing idea then? There's been a little nitpicking in the legal area but no one will actually tell me why it is a bad idea. Ok let's assume there are no legal hurdles why would it not work? I know I know, oooman bleedin rights!
