Muslim Police in Muslim areas? Are we losing control of our country?
And attempting to convert Muslims to Christianity was a hate crime.
If this is so, then are all Jehovah's Witnesses attempting to commit a hate crime when they knock on your door?

Here's the hole in your argument...
...If people cannot be bothered to go to church, what on earth will make them convert to Islam???
Also, we live in a secular society. Islam (as well as every other religion) will never get a foothold into the real seats of power in this country (the judiciary, police etc) because...well it simply could never happen.
It would preface a HUGE constitutional crisis.
You may as well say that Daleks will eventually take over parliament. It's just scaremongering.
Impossible.

Enjoy your freedom of speech while you have it. Enjoy being a Christian (those 43 of you left) while you still can. Hisslam is here in all its tolerance.
How the...
Do you seriously believe what you're saying? Really? I wonder.
I'm going to reference some stats which I have referenced on several occasions before, but which always seem to be ignored. These are from the CIA world Factbook:
Religion in UK (2001 census)
Muslim: 2.7%
Christian: 71.6%
Unspecified/None: 23.1%
Other: 1.6%
We're not losing control. We're not about to be magically transformed into another race or whatever you think is going to happen. It is physically impossible for a group which makes up less than 3% of the population to somehow overrun the country.

You said that the muslim faith is more than willing and eager to replace it. and then cited disinterest in Christianity as evidence of this. So the logical implication is that people will go over to Islam.
Unless you're suggesting that Muslims coming in will replace native Christians (as this is the only other way that Islam could supplant Christianity). But - as I show above - this is impossible and is rather half-baked.

The logical implication of it is still the same though. If you say that Islam will inevitably take over, there's only two possibilities as to how that could happen:
a) People will convert
b) Muslims will replace Christians
(b) is clearly impossible, so the implication is that your prediction will happen through (a). Which is what sp was attacking.

Yeah sorry, stoke but your logic is flawed there.
You seem to be suggesting that it's a straight face-off between us being a Christian country and a Muslim one, when your reasoning actually suggests that we're becoming a more secular one. Which personally I'm all for.
People losing interest in Christianity doesn't somehow bolster the position of Islam. It just makes secularism more predominant.
Hi 34 years! Yep, I'm watching. Watching and chuckling. ;-)

There are 1.5 million muslims in the UK out of a population of 60 million. Quite a long way to go before they reach the 30 million mark.
There might become a time when more muslim practise their faith than christians, but then so what.
Parliament has 26 unelected (by me) clegymen who decide what happens in my life. Which would be preferable when christianity dwindles further, ditching these undemocratically imposed charlatans in frocks, or replacing them with Imams?

I am a Muslim myself and never tried to hide here. I believe that first of all Muslims themselves need to practice their religion according to the actual teachings of Islam. They have to try and tell their children what Islam says and not what Imam says. Once anyone knows Islam then no way a Christian missionary can convert that person to Christianity. Because Islam as a religion and way of life is perfect and unfortunately Christianity Isnt.
That is the reason why people have and are falling away from Christianity. Because there are so many different bibles and so many different churches and so many different gods that people are confused that either father is the god or son is mother used to be the third then taken over by the holly ghost or may be father and the son are the same. Confusion, confusion, confusion.
Some might say about Islam, Shia & Sunni. But if you study Islam then Shia & Sunni are not like Roman Catholics or protestants or evangelical and so on.
At the end I would not stop anyone preaching their religion as Islam does not say that you should do that. Even at the time of Muhammad (pbuh) there were Jews and Christians preaching their religion.

i wonder what percentage of germans were nazi's in 1939.
Quite a few actually. Remember that Hitler was elected by popular vote. Plus plenty of evidence suggests that Nazism retained (and expanded) a considerable base of mass support until about 1943.

Wow. Kind of subjective, don'tcha think?
I have to say, keyplus, you make it really, really, really difficult to support you sometimes.

Then why haven't they started earlier? Christianity really hasn't changed much (relatively speaking), so why only now do people start?
The reason people are dirfting from Christianity is due to the rise in secular thought or opinion. There's been an increase over the years in the number of writers and intellectuals who support it and that has a trickle-down effect. Christianity is really no less unclear than it ever was.

Impossible.
Can you be absolutely sure sp1814? Who would have said over 80years ago, that one day we would be ruled over by a female Prime Minister.
So why not a Muslim Prime Minister one day?
