US to ignore Zimbabwe poll result !
Does this mean that the previous President will remain President in the eyes of the U.S.A. ?
That would be -er--um, Mugabe, right ?

"In a written statement, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said it is abundantly clear that President Mugabe is determined to thwart the will of the Zimbabwean people, and that the United States condemns the violence in the strongest terms.

Rice said the opposition Movement for Democratic Change and Mr. Mugabe's ZANU-PF party must work together on behalf of the Zimbabwean people and said the Mugabe government "cannot be considered legitimate" in the absence of a runoff."


Meanwhile, Mugabe's friends in neighbouring countries are deserting him, and if he continues with the poll, his isolation should be complete by saturday morning.

All we have to do now is stop UK mining companies investing �200 Million in the place.
As the USA or UK have no influence in Zimbabwe I shouldn't think it would make any difference what they thought.
