That's a tad harsh. It reminds me of the old joke:

Man: Boss, I'm going to get my haircut this afternoon.
Boss: Not in work's time you don't.
Man: But it grows in work's time
Boss: Not all of it does
Man: I'm not having all of it cut off!
hahaha!! ^ how true that is! I think I might use that the next time I can't get a weekend or evening appointment!

It's a bit much having to clock of to go for a whizz though.
A man is stopped by the cops for speeding , they ask his name he gives it as Mr. W@nkbreak . Strangely the cops don't believe him so he gives them the phone number of the factory where he works for them to check
.So the cops call & ask "do you have a w@nkbreak there " the receptionist replys " w@nkbreak? we're lucky if we get a tea-break"
I like the line

Staff received extra money as part of the pay deal which was aimed at focusing toilet breaks at set times of the day, he said.

"They have already been paid to manage their own lavatorial affairs."

When you gotta go you gotta go.
But what if it's not time and there's another two hours till toilet time !
It depends on the severity of the visit, which may range from a quick splash to a serious communion with a good book.
Time to wear nappy again.
Ewwww Whiffey! You don't seriously take breaks that warrant reading material at work!!
Lakitu, no, I don't "go" at work, I bottle it up (figuratively) until I get home, and I wish more people were as considerate.
A company I used to work for several years back actually had a log book (so to speak!!) for when employees went to the toilet and the toilets where kept locked so you had to log the key out from the supervisor and the time was recorded and log it back in and the time was recorded again on your return.

The comments section was the funniest part and started to get abused a bit.. the memo that went round asking people to stop logging things like consistency and colour in the comments section had us crying with laughter :)
LOL @ Whiffey - I'm glad it's figuratively!

Chuck, examples please!
Little Hitler middle managers love this sort of thing - a power trip.
