Just seen it on ITV news now, that the home secretery doesnt think 'knife crime is getting worse', erhh is it just me or does this dozey bitch not watch the news?
how useless, if we have a government with so many bl@@dy pr**ks we'll all end up getting stabbed or blown up. Is it time we had a different government, because i think this one is as useful as a chocolate teapot?

In other words, there was more of it two years ago than there is now, the newspapers just hadn't noticed at the time.
MrBen5 can we just sort out somewhere small like Costa Rica, I've had enough of desert warfare.

Its akin to when the Media jumped on Pit Bull Terrier attacks back in 1990. A breed that has been in this country for some time was suddenly mauling a kid every day of the week (according to the Sun, Mirror and Star). I dont doubt the credibility of the reports - its simply a case of we never heard before because it wasn't media trendy to report it.
Knife crime is not getting worse, there's no more of it around than there was 50 years ago, well not a lot more anyway, not so much more as to get agitated about. I blame the press, not the yoofs carrying the knives, who are sorely misunderstood. We need to pour loads more public money at the problem. They are deprived kids from deprived areas, and need our help, loads of it, and soon before it gets out of hand.
Why are they poor and deprived? Surely they are not (gasp!) unemployable?

whiffey, come on eh?these thugs are the dregs of society, their parents are to blame they are probably to ****** in the pub to realise their kids are even tooled up.what are you suggesting when the murderes of ben kinsella are caught tell them that society is to blame and that they are not responsible for their OWN actions and then send them for a 3 week break to the algarve?the only way these animals will learn is if they are punished properly....no more kid gloves....zero tolerance on the carrying of knives in a public place which will carry a minimum of 10 years in prison i bet the home secretary would not walk through a street in say liverpool, london, manchester at night.....they are to busy in their ivory tower....

Just a thought Adam
Maybe just maybe the Home Secretary of the United Kingon doesn't get her information from Trevor McDoghnut on News at 10 !
I'm not surprised that you think the government is useless because that's just what the people running the media want you to think.
If you can't tell when you're being manipulated by journalists I wonder who the dozy bitch truely is!

Really Jake? Are you suggesting every woman is afraid to go out at night on their own? That's certainly not my experience.
Whatever. She can't say everything is ticketyboo one minute and then say she a bit scared of the dark another - OK, I'm being a bit flippant, but you get the point.
Perhaps she'd feel safer if she follwed the example of that other idiot woman, Harman, and wore a stab vest.
