On Thursday, at Leeds Crown Court, an illegal Iranian immigrant was convicted of male rape. The boy he raped was a friend of my daughter. He was given 6 years and will be deported when he's served his sentence. But we don't want to publicise that and upset the foreign nationals do we?

Well when they commit AWFUL acts like this then I for one love to see it publicsed, then people will gradually realise that all this multicuteral talk is just rubbish.
Our lack of control on illegal immigration provides cases like this time and time again.
This will probably effect the young boy for the rest of his life, just because some piece of scum manages to get into this country illegally.

This boy wasn't bothered about his name being in the papers. But his parents aren't even aware that this happened, let alone a trial and a conviction. He didn't want to put any pressure on them.
The guilty person pretended he did not understand English, much to the annoyance of the judge. He clearly understood what was going on, as he started to answer lots of questions then pretended he needed an interpreter.
I wouldn't argue with any answers on this, except to say that when it comes to issues involving Middle East and Asian people, there seems to be some kind of fear which comes over everyone with regard to talking about anything they are involved in, probably because of all the ridiculous political correctness involving them.
Multiculturalism IS rubbish. The vast majority of people in this country are not interested in it and don't want it.
Perhaps those that do, just walk round all day singing "Imagine".

Since this man has been found guilty and sentenced, any chance of a name? Under the Criminal Justice Act 1988 there is no anonymity for rape defendants unless to do so might identify the victim. This cannot be the case in this instance, so no reason why it would not be a simple matter to establish the facts of the case.

The group is Christian ministers especially in boarding schools. Their known victims number in the tens of thousands. Tens of thousands more dealt with the assaults in their own way and don't want to revisit the crimes against them. The perpetrators were almost invariably protected by the church heirarchy and transferred to other areas where they reoffended.
The Pope has already made a formal apology in the USA and the Catholic Church had been selling off property to fund the compensation claims.
