Vicar with balloons

What happened to the vicar that was swept away into the sky by a bunch of balloons a few weeks/months ago ??
I never heard anything else about him. Was he ever found ?

The only thing I heard recently was that they found balloons somewhere but no sign of the vicar.

Hmmm, apparently the vicar was never swept away. It was just his cloak. People presumed he had gone too, but he had merely just ran off as he was naked. He is too ashamed to come out.
I do believe they have yet to find his cloak yet though...

He wasn't a vicar, he was a priest, and a quick google of 'priest balloon' brings up quite a few articles, this being the top one

I often wonder what causes the balloons to deflate?

If you look at the photo on spudqueen's link, the balloons are not deflated. The body was not found with the balloons, so he must have ditched for some reason.
