What's happening with Bin Laden - is he still hiding in the caves in Afganistan?

The US military is winding up its search for Osama bin Laden at Tora Bora. They had no success at finding him in the cave complex which has been destroyed by bombing. General Tommy Franks, commander of the US war effort, confessed that the weeks-long search of the Tora Bora complex had failed. There is a suspicion that he may be in Pakistan, but the Pentagon has decided to end public reports about its hunt for the leading terrorists: it claims that intelligence sources were being compromised by public discussion of the manhunt.

Who knows. If they were honest the pentagon would admit that they never knew where he was in the first place. And they are quietly dropping the subject so that they can pretend that they didnt invade just to find him in the first place.

I suspect bin Laden is in Iran or maybe even Saudi Arabia (you know, our partners in the coalition against terrorism). He has many friends and even more supporters who are happy to see him continue his activities, i.e., kill more Americans.
