Overstretched and under-funded, the Government's answer?

As we have heard in the past few days, the Armed forces are overstretched and under-funded, they don't have the proper equipment, deployed too often without proper R&R and what is the Government's answer?

They are over-stretched, and they are under-funded, but this scheme applies to helping them resume their civilian lives once they have left the forces. It's the least we can do after what they've been through, and I can't see anything wrong with it.

Maybe the answer is to use troops to defend the UK rather than to spend billions building aircraft carriers to fight wars thousands of miles away in other people's countries!

Just another pathetic offer, from this pathetic goverment, on par with the pensioner's winter fuel payment.

The Forces and the Pensioners, need a very substantial rise in their income, not crumbs from off the table.
