SuperDump site in nrth dublin Ireland????

What about the beautiful beaches around Rush, Skerries, Donabate....how close is the Dump going to be to the coast??? anyone know....have fond memories of camping and caravaning in the area back in the 70's....shame to see it taken over by the seagulls!!!!

What about the 8 homes that are to be buldozed to make way for this super dump?? It is disgraceful. Obviously Bertie doesn't give a s**t who gets in his way. This is the last remaining green belt in Fingal and the only people that will benefit from this is Fingal county council who stand to make millions. What will they do when this one is full...Bulldoze more peoples home for another landfill site. Where will it stop?. This government is way behind other european countries when it comes to waste management. I don know of one family who have been served with evicion notice to make way for this landfill and they have asked us to help by writing to Bertie. If you'd like to help please email "[email protected]" . Not sure if it will do any good but for the sake of our childen and our childrens children I feel I must do something.

I totally agree...but could u tell me which side of the M1 its going to be on..as u go up north from the city is it going to be on the left or on the right... thanks

Its going to be on the left hand side of the road as you drive north. Its close to the M1 which is probably why they have picked this land.
