23 minutes to find the post, Legend. Not good enough.
What you did tonight was block up a topic area that is regarded by most ABers as a serious subject area with your nattering. You used up 7 slots of the 20 that appear on the first page so serious questions got relegated more quickly. Very discouteous.
I don't have a problem with Chatterbank because I don't have to go there. What I do object to is finding Chatterbank material littering other parts of the site. You are not alone in this - just an example that caught my eye.
The site, IMHO, is gradually degenerating. That is News. That's why I posted the question. Attempts by others to make suggestions in AB Suggestions fall on deaf ears - see here

The last Editors Blog is dated 9th July so nothing much happening there then. Thats why I decided to draw attention to the degeneration here.
The origins of the site are in its name AnswerBank. Its time the owners split the site or it will die. Folks wanting answers to serious questions just wont bother.
This question will clearly be banned by AB when it eventually gets around to it. In 4 years of use I have one other banned question to my name on a similar issue of daring to criticise other ABers. But I feel that strongly about it that it worth just one evening of debate.
So guys, what is the answer to the problem-child called Chatterbank.? Which is actually my real question.
