I saw the interview, the girl was overcome with emulsion, and it just slipped out lol!!!!
Emulsion. I hope that's a malapropism.

Yes, I saw it too. No big deal really. After all the live interviews of medal winners, I'm surprised it took until day twelve.
Why did the BBC apologise?
I really can't tell you. Not only did the interviewer apologise, the two studio presenters felt that they also needed to apologise. That's the BBC for you.
Miss Thomas what do you for a living?Teacher or Doctor of Letters perhaps?
I've never actually told anyone what I do for a living. By the way, it's Mrs Thomas.
Anyone with a brain at the BBC would have realised that by making such a fuss about it, they were drawing more attention to it. Given the time of day that it was broadcast, I wouldn't think an awful lot of people saw it live.

And in another setback, a young prospect for the 2012 London games has been hospitalised after a freak training accident, in the one man fart lighting event

A 12-year-old has been taken to hospital with burns after blowing up a petrol can while breaking wind.

"Fire fighters were called to the scene after a boy set fire to his farts.
The boy was attempting to set fire to his farts as part of a competition against his cousin in the garden of a house in Tipton when the accident occurred.
Fire fighters were called to the address but the small blaze had already burned itself out when the crew arrived."

Didn`t he same thing happen with Steve Redgrave a few years ago?
Did Steve Redgrave get hospitalised for setting his farts alight? The Beeb kept that quiet!!!!
I'd be no good at that. My 'wind' tends to be a bit more random. I don't think I could fart on cue.

Why would you want to fart on a snooker cue joggerjayne?

Anyone with a brain could work out that the BBC are getting more coverage and potentially more viewers over this.
I don't think the BBC have ever officially apologised for Adrian Chiles.
Anyone with a brain could work out that the BBC are getting more coverage and potentially more viewers over this.

Anyone with a brain would work out that viewers are not switching over in their millions from other channels just to hear a woman say a word that you could hear in the pub every night of the week.
A lorry has just arrived in Beijing, loaded with barbed wire and wooden posts.

Turned out to be the Irish fencing team.

Hope I haven't caused offence.
Mexico didn't send a team to the Beijing Olympic Games. Apparently, anyone who can swim, jump or run is already in the United States.
