Oh no! I heard about this whilst on holiday when I couldn't sleep & was sat up late watching tv. Was hoping the family had fled and were in hiding. The young girl is only 15.

It really is very sad. I hope that they were shot like the animals were before the fire started, that would be preferable to being burned alive.

He did not owe millions in tax :

Foster's business, which owed more than �1million to creditors and �800,000 in tax, had collapsed and he was forbidden to sell the house without permission of the liquidator, it emerged today.


He was living above his means, owed money to dodgy people, hid his assets from his creditors.... he is a crook

Yes he was taking money out of his "main" business and transferring it to another businss with a similar name.

His main company went bankrupt, yet he had money stashed away in other accounts.

The judge at the court case for the winding up of his business said he was involved in some dodgy dealings.

Still a strange turn of events though.

He is about as dodgy and crooked as businessmen come.

He was kidnapped his family were held to ransom,and when he refused to come up with the goods they killed his family, torched the home and he was probably fed to the pigs !

Local radio just announced that the police have launched a murder inquiry.

Post morten confired that that the wife had been shot. The other body is said to be male.

I heard about the identification of his wife last night too. This story has really bothered me for some reason. It's all terribly sad and for what....debt that isn't unsolveable? (sp?) Money that you can't take with you anyway?

It's certainly looking like it was him that did it, I simply cannot get my head around a man murdering his own offspring.

ah have just read that the father shot his wife and then himself they reckon they will find body of girl soon and that she was shot in bedroom so when house collapsed she would have been buried under rubble

They don't know it's his body yet, it most likely is though.

I wonder why the daughter wasn't nearby though :o/

Did he just walk in her room and shoot her while she was sleeping? Did he board up the windows and door after he shot them? If not, then surely the 2 women would fight to stop him and therefore the bodies would be beside each other (the women I mean).

What's with the powercut? Was it just that house? The whole area? Was the fire a mistake? Candles during powercut lead to an accident? Maybe he shot them knowing they would burn alive otherwise and saving the pain?

I know nobody can answer any of that, just some musings.
