This is particularly disturbing, because after killing her child, she drove around with the body for eight hours on the back seat.

Are white people getting increasingly aggressive to their own children, or is my question as ignorant as the one below?

I think I know what the answer is, but I'd welcome comments.

Regarding Muslims, it is popular knowledge, the many crimes they have committed. These crimes are committed both by their extremists, and by ordinary Muslims if a family member happens to bring dishonour on the famiiy.

Now to address the Black thing, (your terminology not mine).

The reason, this has had so much coverage, is because there have been so many Black on Black crimes of late. This is fact I am afraid, so therefore cannot be disputed.

These are the reasons We've done the Muslim/black thing to death, in contrast to these fewer examples of White crime.

This is totally untrue, there have been many posted when the need has arose. Madeline Mcann and Sharrnon Mathews parents both got plenty of coverage on this site.

While in no way condoning these very small numbers of murders committed by fathers upon their children, they are generally due to the fact that there has been a separation between the mothers and fathers. When this happens in most cases the mother is given custody of the children, leaving the father of perhaps never seeing his children ever again. This can and must mentally disarrange the loving father into committing the horrible crime of killing his children and then killing himself.

Trust me most Whites are appalled at the crimes committed in their own communities.

RR - I have NO idea of where the dividing line is drawn in regards to white/black crime.........................and I suspect that apart from totting up the number of black faces you see on Crimewatch, neither do you.

If you can give me a link to a credible site giving statistical analysis of white/black crime in the UK and this supports your point I will set up a thread pubically apologising to you.

A well reasoned response...however, this is my point. When 'black crime' is reported, there is a general (correct me if I'm wrong) assumption that the crime is closely tied in with the ethnicity of the criminal...nothing else...just the fact that they're black.

When the criminal is white, you get to hear about their broken home, their low educational attainment, bleak financial prospects, the violent video games they play etc etc...everything is taken into account.

Why is this not done when the criminal is non-white?

I am safe in making this outlandish claim because I have looked at the faces of convicted football hooligans and they are all white men. So it follows that whites are more thuggish than blacks, right?

Weird...in London, the areas of East London with a high proportion of Asian families have actually improved. I'm thinking of Bethnal Green specifically.

Lovely area which is getting lovelier all the time.

My guess is that Asian families in general have larger families which means more Council Tax which in turn leads to a better maintained local area.

Perhaps Oldham is 'a northern thing' rather than 'a Muslim thing'.

Just guesswork here.

And the press and the news report 'every single crime' with a comment as to the perpetrators ethnicity, do they RR ?

I remember a Ukrainian former colleague of mine arguing that blacks are more predisposed to criminality than whites. He'd been watching Crimewatch too.

Here's a stat for you. Rate of people convicted of crime in Ukraine, according to latest United Nations Survey on Crime Trends: 466.47 per 100,000 inhabitants. Comparative rate for Zambia, home to lots of dark-skinned people: 0.97 per 100,000.

In 1983, a commotion erupted in Britain when the London Metropolitan Police issued figures showing that twice as many street crimes were committed by Blacks as by Whites in that city. The statistics showed that, of 19,528 London victims of robbery and other street crimes, 10,960 identified their assailants as Black. Of the rest, 5,262 of the offenses were blamed on Whites and 534 on mixed-race criminals. (Sunday Times, 27 March 1983).

However, according to the British Commission for Racial Equality, more Whites are the victims of race attacks than Asians and Blacks added together. (Daily Telegraph, London, 9 February 1999).

According to the CRE�s own statistics, in the year 1997/1998, a total of 230,000 Whites were attacked by non-Whites in racially motivated assaults in Britain, compared to 101,000 Asians and 42,000 Blacks reporting racial attacks by Whites. The majority of racial attacks in Britain are therefore, in real and pro-rata terms, carried out by non-Whites against Whites.
