If you buy the Sunday Mail today there is an article just released for consumption that painted a picture during the Cuban Missile Crisis all those years ago. Our planes were ready and waiting to take off on the command of JFK to unload our nuclear missiles on Russia. It was necessary for us to do this because Britain would have been the first strike target being so close to Russia. Has anything changed?
