Gazundering.. is there a case for it??

Gazundering is back in the news again. According to the Motley fool, 54% of people think it's out of order but when push came to shove 94% would force the price down if they could. So is money enough to surpress the ethics in most of us?

not at all jake, I fuly agree with market forces. I was more interested in the question of how far people are prepared to keep an agreement when cash is involved.

Strange really. The government brought out HIPS to help the buyer make a hassle free transaction but did nothing to help the seller.

I agree flip_flop, once you make an offer and it's accepted it should be legally binding at that point.

I wouldn't do it.
If anyone did it to me I'd accept the reduced offer and then go through the motions until the day before the signing of contracts. The buyers would then get a phonecall saying that the price had now gone up to �1000 more than their original offer.

HIPS were just a form of taxation so the Government could employ even more people to watch us and spy into our homes.

If they wanted to protect they would have adopted the Scottish system.
