Here is another council house worth millions that is has been given to a load of foreign scroungers to live in...

10m Council House

amend above to 1bn
yea the royal family cost us ALL 60p a year, and bing in millions of tourists, and sped their lives doing stae visits and the like, what ********.
it's just an empty old listed building they've shoved her in whilst they make repairs to her house.

Just tabloids trying to make trouble.

They're saving the taxpayer money not putting her into b&b I imagine.

it's an old lodge house so probably draughty with dodgy heating she'll probably be pretty pleased to get out of it if the winter turns cold!

Don't know where they get 2 million from - probably from it's location - bet they can't get 2 mill for it in today's financial climate!
why doesn't she pay for her own effin house anyway why does the council have to house her anywhere!!!
Why is anyone is a council house admarlow?

you don't know her circumstances and why shes in a council house to begin with.

Or are you suggesing that no-one should have one?
pretty much 99% of them are lazy spoungers. Tell my why her 22 year old son doesn't have his own job/house too.
got a link to that 99% statistic? Or did you just make it up? (75% of statistics are made up)
no its based on personal experiance and in no way what so ever scientific xx
admarlow

There is no suggestion that she is not paying her rent. Her house is being ungraded by her landlords (the council) and she has been put in this lodge temporarily.

How can you get annoyed by a non story such as this? Or is it her black face that annoys you?
no her 2 quid a week rent and her lazy son do it for me black or white, but why not play th race card for them x
Mmmm - I'm beginning to wonder whether council tenants are better off than some of the youngsters of today - struggling to pay a mortgage & trying to keep their heads above water!

I don't begrudge anyone being allocated a council house, as long as they're not 'jumping' the queue & are prepared to put something back into the system!
2 a week rent.

Bit out of touch there admarlow, more like 90pw
i wouldnt know im NOT in a council house...Gromit.
The colour of her face has ****** all to do with it, the fact that her son could be working and paying his way annoys me.

She looks able bodied herself, i'm sick to death as a tax payer paying for this type of vermin who just scrounge of the state making honest law abiding claimants look the same as they do.

As a tax payer - what benefit do i get? Maybe i should give up my job and get my mortgage paid for me too - oh thats right i can't i have a conscience!
Is she working? Is she on benefits? That article doesn't specify, but an awful lot of people living in council houses work and support themselves, paying the due rent with no benefit support.
I love Tiggy

Where does it say her son is not working and not paying his way?

How can you be goaded by this Non-story?
The same people making the assumption that council tenants are all jobless are probably the ones who moan about Maggie Thatcher flogging of the nations housing stocks....

Or buy to let purchasers pushing up prices for first time buyers...

My parents have spent most of their working lives in a council house, both working, both paying rent, both paying tax....whats the difference from the council being their landlord to having some private individual being the landlord?

Council house does NOT equal out of work!!
I love tiggy and admarlow...please point out where in this non-story does it say that the woman and her son are jobless?

You might like to know also that prior to its temporary role as accommodation for (heavens forbid) a council tenant it was used for storage.
