T.V Licence

My father says he has heard that from April 2009, there will be bands for T.V licences (similar to the council tax) according to the screen size of your T.V. In other words the bigger the screen the more money you will pay, has anybody else heard this??

Oh I heard they were bringing dog licences back and if you had a doberman or an old english sheepdog you paid 4 times as much for it than if yoiu had a yorkie

On the subject of dog licenses....

The license for a Dalmation was cheaper because it was only in black and white.

I have only got a portable in the conservatory!! I ignore the one in the living room(50 inch), if they want to dog licence me I have a yorky(very small) so they have to ow me money. Good wind up, the question I WILL be using that one.

Since it is mainly those who dodge paying for a licence that tend to own the largest TVs, it would not matter.

They tend to own the largest Dogs also, so what the hell? Bring in the legislation it will not cramp their life style.
