Is this what the Muslim faith thinks of Christians?
Notice in this Guardian report the word Muslim does not appears once. Sunni extreamists, Kurdish militias, yes but not Muslim.
Will we soon, only be allowed to call it the 'M' word?

This was an appalling act perpetrated against someone who cared enough about humanity (regardless of creed) to spend time helping them.
Her life and death says as much about her (our?) definition of Christianity as it says about their (extremists) definition of Islam.
They cry to the world when governments and armies oppress(?) them and then they kill the people who go to aid them.

i am a muslim myself, and am devested to learn such an act is happening. JockSporran you are right Islam is a religion opposed to evil.
islam is a religion of peace and faith, islam is not of place for extreamists or militias.
for me it is diffcult to explain why these things happen and to explain to people that muslims or the religion islam is not associated with extreamists.
again i will use the words of JockSporran ' please not tar all Muslims with the same brush.'

Here we go again, mention Muslims committing acts of violence and some wheel out that old chestnut, "but look what the Christians did".
Jock, asks As far as I can make out (correct me if I'm wrong), Islam is a religion opposed to evil.
My answer to this is, Islam is far from a religion that is opposed to evil. In fact they pratice evil all over the Middle East, and this has now spread to the Western World.
Yes Christians have also been very evil, but that was centuries ago. They have over all these centuries now moved on and are now a caring religion.

Hope you enjoyed your history lesson in Pays Cathare learning about what the Catholic Church did to the population of Beziers.
This is what it was a history lesson into 11th century. If you had widened your travels further, I bet you would have been equally horrified at what went off all over the world in the 11th century.
I don't know what link 123everton was reading but it wasn't mine because there was no mention of the woman Christen aid worker killed in Kabul.
Regarding jno's post about contraception????? it is his report that is misleading ,
it would seem he is up in the air among the fairies once again.

Do you think the reports should replace 'Sunni extremists' with 'Muslim extremists'?
If so, why???
Wouldn't that be dumbing down the report?
Take the following paragraph:
Local Sunni officials deny the allegation, pointing the finger at Kurdish militias who, it is said, want to empty the city of Christians before upcoming local elections. The Kurdish regional government also denies the claims.</>
Would you prefer to see it written as:
Local Muslim officials deny the allegation, pointing the finger at militias, who are another kind of Muslim, who, it is said, want to empty the city of Christians before upcoming local elections. The regional government, who are the same kind of Muslim just mentioned (the second kind, not the first) also denies the claims.
Hmmm...not exactly elegant reporting eh?

History of religious wars in 16th circa - India, before British occupation and 1947 formation of Pakistan for Islamics.

The Hindus and Islamists living in UK prove they can only survive side by side under UK law which is why they live here. UK law has its origines in the Christian faith.
Give credit where its due? Or just remain stubborn and risk your sons blood!

CATHARISM.
CATHARISM.
The Media in general hide behind pseudonyms in religion and politics. You would think that the Germans never dropped a bomb or committed a single violent act, Oh ! No! it was only the Nazis and the SS. So it is with all religions whatever the crime it's the extremists who are at fault. At least according to the media.
