so where is Shannon Matthews now?
I hope social sme66ing services are not in control, they'll probably give her back to her mum in prison!
Presumably she's in care/foster home of some sort, how are the authorites keeping the press from hassling her etc?

The courts only concern is the 'best interest of the child' and she is of an age to express an opinion. She has stated that she does not want to live with her mother.
Only 3% of women prisoners have their children with them, so it is not standard procedure. These children are babies and the mothers are serving relatively short sentences.

loony leftie social workers I really have heard it all now.
your prejudice and stupidity combined makes for a real lethal combination!
To even think there is political connotations involved in being a social worker is so ludicrous, Im surprised the internet didnt reject that sentenceas a joke and just decide to not print it!

Shannon is in foster care with highly trained and dedicated people who will nurture her and provide a stable and loving upbringing. She is on a full care order which means that she will not be able to have contact with her family until such time that she expresses a wish to do so and the court think that it will not be detremental to her emotionally. Hope this answers the question
