It's not necessarily a matter of individuals being 'corrupted' or not.

This is a family site, the remark was seriously unpleasant, I reported it, not because i was 'corupted, but because i was disgusted that anyone would think posting it had any merit what ever.

You may be a balanced adult - as most AB'ers are - but some are not, and they cause offence with their perception of humour.

Moderation on a site like this is there to stop such nonsense from infecting - and that is the correct word - the AB, which doesn't deal in such garbage.
