Trt, I have four kids to two different mothers. Yes I'm on benefits, have been for the last five years. The right kind of job hasn't come up yet, but will start work when it does. I do my best to provide for my kids. It's not as easy as you think, only being able to go out twice a week. I hope to make a fresh start in the new year. I don't see what my lifestyle has got to do with the question.

I wouldn't be able to hold my head up for shame using that escuse myself, I'd take a job..any job that paid me a wage and enabled me to provide for my family, and believe me I've had some really crap jobs in the past. My current one isn't anything to write home about either but I'd be damned if I could justify being on the dole for 5 years because "the right job hasn't come up".

I arrived into this country on 28th Sep 1991 and started working part time (I was a student) from 3rd October 1991. Since then I have worked and paid tax. Lesblue, your comments are uncalled for. I've e-mailed the Ed to have them removed. Why does everyone jump on their high horse whenever benefits are mentioned. I'm a decent person and not a scrounger, just a bit choosy about which job to take. I do have something in mind and will be filling in an application form when I get back from holiday in the new year. Don't be so quick to judge, I only want what's best for me.

I came on here to try and defend an unfortunate woman who has become a victim of society. You have all ended up as the baying mob because I have chosen a certain lifestyle. It is still a free country and if you don't like me exercising that right, then you're very selfish indeed. I attend a lot of protest rallies, at least I have the satisfaction of trying to help others. I probably work as hard as anyone on here. Do you give up your weekends to fight for justice?
