Jonathan Ross - Hurrah......
......next month Jonathan Ross will be back on our screens and on our airwaves following his absurd supsension.
I can't wait.
The only reason for listening to the radio equivalent of beige was JR on Saturday mornings, so thank gawd he'll be back soon.
No doubt those who went out of their way and listened to the extremely funny broadcast of 18th October just so they could be 'shocked' and 'disgusted' following The Daily Pernicious whipping up an unwarranted frenzy, and even worse those sanctimonious lickspittles who didn't even bother going out of their way to be 'shocked' and 'disgusted' will no doubt be nasally whining in January that "I pay my licence fee harumph harumph harumph....."
Well I also pay my licence fee, and I for one am glad that his enforced exile will soon be over.
Yay or Nay?

I though the Ross/Brand broadcast was extremely offensive, as I have stated.
Your comment was extremely offensive Ethel!!

I can't bear J Ross. He's a selfish interviewer, only ever wanting to talk about himself. From what I remember from the phone call to A Sachs, it was Ross who was the first to "cross the line"- Brand was clearly shocked and uncomfortable by what Ross said about the grand-daughter.
I thought Brand's programme about Jack Kerouac was excellent.

I like Russell Brand more than Jonathan Ross, I actually think there's something quite fanciable about Brand too (I know, I know!!)
Got to say, I also agree with Lottie re Ethels rudeness, which I was quite shocked to see to be honest. What Tigger and Aprilis were saying was that they couldn't care less whether anyone else likes the two presenters- they themselves do. Ethels rudeness towards TCL over in Suggestions was also an eye opener.

There are a lot of people who also pay their licence who would be quiite happy never to have Ross back.
when the BBC try to put up the licence fee just think that they could employ 4 or 5 quality presenters for what they pay Ross.
Anyway who else other than the BBC would take Ross on at his ridiculous salary

lofty...completely confused now and the phone keeps ringing LOL.. I think it was all about me greeting Ethel back after holiday and her not having the decency to reply. To me that was no big deal, but when one of her "mates" two days later welcomed her back, Ethel replired to her within the hour.
No big deal lofty and don't give it another thought.
