Ok whatever you think of vivisection, whether it's necessary or not, don't matter, it will happen end of. So why do the geniuses from the ALF and co want to drive it out of UK where the rules are strict and it's all regulated properly, suffering no doubt occurs but it's a minimum. If they drive it out it'll get done somewhere as cheap as possible in some tin pot sh1t hole that couldn't give a rats ar5e about rules and regs and sufferring. Net result more animals suffer more! So can anyone explain this dipstickery? Or am I looking for logic where there is none?

I don't think there is any logic with these people. Look at them releasing mink into the wild. Mink are not native to this country and have done enormous amounts of damage to our native creatures as they are (literally) eating them out of house and home.

A great majority of the ALF don't act or think logically. You are wasting your time trying to make sense of their actions!

I am against animal cruelty but also understand that a lot of animal testing for medical treatments is necessary. I firmly believe there is no need for testing cosmetics and household cleaning stuff etc on animals as most of the substances now used are tested and documented already.

A mate of mine goes out with ALF woman. She's against Testing on animals for cosmetics (which I agree with). However, she's also against all sports & pastimes that use animals..horse racing/riding, greyhounds, & hunting of course . She's also disagrees with using guide dogs for the blind, & dogs that help deaf people & epileptics.

She's also a vegan, which makes it a real pain if you've got to feed her, or go to a pub or restaurant .

I don't mind her company, but woe betide you if you get on the subject of animals or eating of meat

Those ALF idiots let out a load of Mink from near Ringwood and they proceeded to kill all the Owls in a nearby Owl sanctuary, anyone remember it? I used to know one of the guys who worked there, they where distraught, for a while they put a sign up by the main road with a dead Owl hanging on it with the words "Thank you ALF".

if it was regulated properly , how come every time shac or a tv company gets a camera into hls , they can film acts of cruelty. did you not watch the video of the dogs getting punched by the lab technicians. hls said this would never happen again and yet they filmed more getting punched.

R1, from reading your post, I get the impression that you enjoy seeing animals suffer. It's your type who should be put in a cage and experimented upon, though I doubt anyone would learn much. ALF are a peaceful protest group that helps and advises on animal welfare, trying to brand them as terrorists will not work. The vast majority of its members hold down responsible jobs, many in government departments. Your attack on law abiding citizens is unwarranted and could lead to someone taking a personal interest in your views!!
