Not standing up for myself sooner with my mother.

It's always got to me the comments she makes about my weight. Told her last night I joined Weightwatchers and her reply was "Excellent" which got to me (as usual).

So I said, nicely, that negative comments people make, especially those close to me like her and my ex just make me feel bad and like I'm not good enough as I am.

She came up today and worked out we take things differently. She said she wouldn't take comments like she makes in the way I do and don't think she ever realised I did. I feel so much better now :)

WIsh I'd done it a long long time ago!
