Most presidents of the USA have had one or more assassination attempts made on them during their term.
Kennedy three times Nixon, Ford twice, Carter, Regan, Bush, Clinton twice, Bush jr three times. Not surprising in a gun culture such as theirs.

On the radio they were interviewing some woman who's travelled all the way from Kenya to Washington because she wants to witness 'history in the making' Yeah right - would she have gone if the new president was the world first one-legged president? Still 'history in the making'

I once read that advertising is often aimed at the black community because they are more 'brand loyal' But travelling 1000s of miles because the new US president vaguely shares your skin colour is beyond the call of duty.
