For the umpteenth time his lawyers are pressing for wrongful guilty verdict some 22 years ago. He has always pleaded his innocence. Its thought that the latest information where the police moved her body after the shooting gives cause for concern as it may upset the evidence already given.
I have read a lot about this case but nothing recently so hard to decide whether he is guilty or not! After the murders he did act in a rather cavalier manner and his girlfriend at the time give damning evidence against him! it is a "fascinating" case and I will contine to follow it up and see what evidence they come up with!
I've followed this case closely in the past. Guilty as hell. But if you were in prison you would keep pushing the system in the hope that one day that appeal may be successful.
I think even his lawyers think him innocent so the reason for many appeals. Arrogant he may be that does not make him a murderer. With 2 recent cases where they were found innocent and the guilty verdict overturned it would be disastrous for another case to come to light.
Bamber was a middle class white kid, not a working class Paddy, almost a prerequesite for guilt in the 70s and 80s.
I feel he's guilty, the lawyers get paid for the appeals so that's why they find the idea of appealing, appealing.
