I'm sure we can all think of a few teenagers in our localities who might benefit from such punishment. Is this cruel or reasonable? Should the west adopt corporal punishment as opposed to ASBO's?

Actually, "taliban" and "taleban" are both correct. "Taliban" is the transliteration of the Arabic pronunciation.

"Taleban" is the transliteration of the Persian, Urdu pronunciation.
