Muslims Killing Muslims

Sunni Muslims, probably linked with al-Qaeda have yet again attacked Shia Muslim sites in Iraq. Why do we never hear from the Islamic militants who condemn our soldiers condemning these atrocities? Are they linked with the perpetrators? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7 989627.stm

Its always been okay for Muslims to attack Muslims, without the Muslim world protesting much, but if non Muslims, even for non reigious reasons, attack a Muslim state, then, according to them, its generally classed as an attack on the Islamic religion.

This also is the same for terrorist attacks and similar.

Thats my perception of it anyway.

A bit like the war on terrorism - America declared war on terrorism despite a lot of funding of the IRA and also funding Iraq in its war against Iran and Al Quaeda when they were fighting the Soviets.

And to think Saddam was the only person able to hold the country together. What a mess we have made of it.

Cast your mind back to the break up of Yugoslavia and the various civil wars. Thousands of Kosovan muslims were killed by the Serbs but did the British muslims say or do anything, No they did not.
They would not dare to go to Serbia then or now to protest
which indicates they are only good at very soft targets.
