Just looked at the latest bit of footage of the police poking a rampaging mob with a small stick, Surely they should be equipped with more effective weapons with which to beat the great unwashed. What about US style batons and some high powered cattle prods for example? Our old bill must be the laughing stock of the world, all they have to show is a couple of bruises on some mouthy c0w's leg, I mean, perlease!

No, the kit's fine, it's just the lack of Police Officers to use it effectively that's the biggest problem.

It's impossible to do that when you're outnumbered at least ten to one.
