All vicious attacks by people with no regard for human life. One can only assume that such evil is inherent to these people. Equally horrific crimes have always existed, it is nothing new, I'm sure 40 years ago people were expressing similar sentiments as you with regard to Hindley and Brady's crimes.

Maybe they have Gromit but not in the numbers or in the horrific ways that we seem to have today.
Yes there was the Ripper, Hindley and Brady, 'the acid bath murderer' John Haigh, Doctor Crippin etc. But these names have gone down over the years in the annals of crime.
But how many of those that take place now almost daily, will be remembered even next year?
Maybe they have Gromit but not in the numbers or in the horrific ways that we seem to have today.
