I have just seen my local news and there have been 58 instances of air rage so far this year. These people are putting other peoples lives at risk. Anyone convicted of air rage should have their passports withdrawn permanently.

But they may not be British.

Do we have the right to take away the passport of an American, or a German, or an Australian.
Most instances of Air Rage' are the result of passengers being drunk. The airlines should not be able to sell more than the legal limit of alcohol per passenger. By this, I mean the limit at which your are classified as drunk if you drive a car, which is also what doctors recommend as a safe limit.

Passengers who aircrew suspect have already been drinking should be refused any more alcohol.

If these simple measures were introduced, air rage would virtually disappear.
I agree mostly with Gromit but should any onboard drinking be allowed in the pursuit of extra profit?
I would have thought that a drunken passenger would present a danger to themselves and other passengers in the event of an emergency.
The only solution would be to clsoe the bars at the airport, that'll never happen.
Bet tney''re all smokers!!
"putting people's lives at risk"

How many people have died due to air rage incidents to lead you to this conclusion.

Speeding in a car certainly does put people's lives at risk and in fact many hundreds of thousands of people risk around the world.

Should anybody caught speeding (no matter what percentage over the speed limit) have to revoke their license?
passengers are banned by the flight companies
i suggest a list similar to that with footballl hooligans

i asssumed they got a blanket ban from all companies.

'Foaming at the mouth'

She is then accused of drinking a bottle of liquid hand soap from a lavatory on the plane as a flight attendant looked on, according to the documents.

Liquid soap is sometimes consumed for its alcohol content.

It would seem that they should also ban liquid soap on planes.
