The thought of drinking Cider makes my stomach turn. Haven't touched anything alcoholic in six or seven years. Don't miss it either.

Got drunk on it when I was on holiday in Spain and was ill for days. Even now I am very wary of this drink.

Hi Judge Nutmeg, I love cider, my favourite is woodpecker and its only 3 or 3.5% so its lovely to drink. I am a bit of a wuss when it comes to strong cider.

mine is Rum, as got through a whole large bottle with my father in law once, and did'nt see anything of the following day.....what a waste!.....never again!!

I have tried it in coffee and so far so good.

It is sickly sweet tho!

Hi christine847 me and my mates used to drink vodka and lime (I used to add soda or lemonade) and one of them ruined the enamel on her teeth!
wizard66 I do like southern comfort but can understand how you would be sick of it after drinking all that!
Blue Nun... used to be sooo sophisticated back in the 70s.

Can't face Cider at all... first thing I drank to excess/vomited copiously on...

hi theonlyone, I must admit I don't like the taste nor smell of alcomahol...I like sweet drinks like cider and wine.

Of course it may well have improved greatly since then; wine has become a much more competitive business and you can't stay in business by offering rubbish.

Pernod, hmmm.... ouzo tastes good on a Greek beach, not in Britain, but I think I'd be prepared to go to Greece just to see if it still works its spell.
