Sir Victor Blank - Golden Payout
Sir Victor Blank is resigning as Chairman of Lloyds Bank Group. It would seem that he is going to try to leave on his terms rather than be pushed. with the Sir Fred Goodwin RBS debacle will the government be keen to make sure that his final payout will be significantly reduced or that the board will weasel its way to getting the best deal possible for him?

So they'll probably not be trying to punish him. It wasn't entirely his fault that the deal went sour - HBOS was in a bigger mess than anyone knew.
