Why??? Not only are they given sickeningly short sentences, he doesnt even actually have to serve each one seperately.
Both of the children in this case have received life sentences in one way or another, through no fault of their own, yet the people who did it to them, the people who are to blame, get this. Absolutely pathetic.

All 3 were sentenced under a new offence for which the maximum sentence is only 14 years.
The biggest problem for the prosecution is trying to prove any given offence, and any of you who has ever had any experience of this will know exactly what I mean. It's the system which is at fault (as about 100 MPs have been saying for the past couple of weeks in a different type of scandal.)

Even after the boy was put under a child protection plan, his case was regarded as routine 'with injuries expected as a matter of course'.
What on earth does that mean? They expect a child to have injuries - well why didn't they take him away. That is unacceptable to leave a child or anyone in the care of someone and say injuries are expected.
Think they should have done to them what they did to that poor little baby. There are no words to describe the way I feel about these beings - I can't called them human as they aren't and no animal would do this to their young.

I sincerely hope that these three scumbags never know another moments peace for the rest of their miserable lives (which with a bit of luck won't be for much longer) and have to sleep with one eye open. All three should be sterilised so there is no possibility of any of them reproducing in the future. Hopefully some kind inmates will do the whole world a favour and wipe the lot of them off the face of the planet. I would quite gladly do the job, hell I'd even enjoy it.
