How can there be any justification for the Prolife Alliance broadcasting pictures of an aborted foetus? Abortion is rarely taken lightly by a woman who has one, and is a difficult and traumatic decision. Pictures like this won't prevent them happening but will only hurt people who are already hurting.

Perhaps one cannot justify it in (what I hope is) an era of pro-choice.
From another angle, imagine if the Army started an advertising campaign actually showing what happens to someone who steps on a mine you planted or gets hit by a 20 mm shell you fired instead of all this "be the best" stuff.
The people who believe that abortion is wrong feel that almost any means necessary including shock tactics - to avert the process is justified. That doesn't make their campaign, or this aspect of it, correct, it just makes it what they believe. I agree entirely with your point - no woman undertakes a termination without a deal of soul searching and pain, but I feel it is a woman's right to decide. It is a very very difficult moral and ethical question, but I don't think trying to disgust or revolt women out of their course of action is either viable, or justified, but your question concerned the stance of the alliance - and they obviously think it is justified, and it will work.
I support Andy Hughes' views. I would like to add that to my knowledge, most terminations take place very early and there are no dismembered foetuses involved. There are very very few late terminations and they involve extreme cases such as foetuses developing without a brain, which means they would die the second they are born.
Genuine evidence, Claudio? Well maybe so, if by "genuine" you mean either outright fakes (have you any idea what's done with the residue of an abortion? Like any other potentially hazardous biological waste, it is canned and incinerated as fast as possible, not laid out for any passing Johnny to take snaps of it), or photographs taken of what was left after an abortion that was medically vital and involved a very much WANTED pregnancy....and pardon me, won't you, my singular lack of sympathy for anyone who would use the agony of a woman who has had to give up the child she longed for because it threatened her life, just so they can score cheap points.
