Will Brown ditch darling after Thursday?

With Labour expecting to do poorly in Thursdays elections, and with the Chancellor embroiled in the expenses scandal, will Brown give darling the chop?

Apparently he wants his mate Balls for the job, so probably.
There are some bad jokes to be made there but I'll leave them to the Sun headline writers...

What is the exact allegations against him - i'm not up to speed on the new crop of allegations over the past few days .

What would really be the point? That is, unless he's also going to jettison most of the rest of his cabinet cronies, including the aforementioned Balls-up and his sneering faced crone of a wife Yvette Cooper.

The fact is that all the main parties have been so discredited by the expenses scandal that it will take a tremendous leap of faith to vote for any of them on Thursday.

Besides, although Labour are toiling in the most recent polls, is it not the norm for the incumbent Government of the day to struggle in mid term elections?

But let's face it, is Brown's character without stain in the prevailing climate of revelations over MPs' alleged wrongdoings? For if not, is it any real surprise that he has comprehensively ruled out an early GE or that he has so far resisted pressure to fire any miscreants from his inner sanctum?

Darling has "ballsed up" the economy, with a lot of help from his heavyweight friend next door, why not give Balls the chance to sink us even further in the mire. What with Mandy telling us we have no right to criticise MP's, Darling and Ball (are they a comedy duo?) should have us rocking in the aisles. GB is obviously hoping that the dust will have settled by next year, but he will hope in vain. This episode will linger in the minds of all voters for a long time to come. We do not need GB, B or D, We need a GE and some honest politicians, (if that is not an oxymoron)

Darling knows where the skeletons are hidden in the cupboard therefore unlikely to give him the chop. Brown has been going on about constitutional reform for some days now. Therefore expect some high powered lawyer to be present in government decisions. Maybe from the Lords?
