Given the nauseating spin and the special interests of some (most?) news outlets, what media sources do you trust for unbiased and comprehensive coverage?

I don't read any national newspapers.  Our local paper (EDP) tends to give quite unbiased national news and I occasionally get this.  I do watch the BBC news every evening and get a daily email and newsnight email from the BBC which tend to give just factual reports.  Probably I am not that well informed!

Ha - fakeplastic - i have now started the EDP too.......

Anyway, to answer your question, the EDP is predominately local but covers national to. I generally also use the BBC and spookily also get the newsnight email....

I also go to google's news page which carries news from around the world and links you to 100s of different media sites. To be fair, most seem to be very samey.

Norfolk Rocks!

EDP?

I make do with the Guardian Unlimited (great sport, left leaning politics, obviously), with the BBC for wider coverage.

watch out for the BBC. They too are guilty of bias. check out www.bbcwatch.com
EDP stands for Eastern Daily Press, Bangkok

Day off tomorrow so heading into the big city (Norwich)

And no to everyone else - I don't drive a tractor!
