This Labour Goverment did away with border controls, while bringing in the 'Human Rights' law, which means that most of the illegals cannot be returned to whence they came, thats coupled with 'Political Correctness', which works well for the non-English, but hardly at all for the English.
Not surprising really, when you look at whose been ruling us for the last twelve years,

So, do you think that is a good thing? I don't. Yet you seem to be saying we should be more intolerant like the Muslim States. I would sooner show them the correct and humane way, it may be one way traffic, but it is the right thing to do.
What is the fuss about, it is just a scarf. The police are supposed to be respectful to the public, and this is a way of being respectful if they have to enter a mosque.
I don't really want us to copy the French or Germans either.

I remember that episode of Tribe with Bruce Parry where he approached a remote Amazonian tribe. They threatened him with spears and he had to strip naked and offer gifts to gain their trust.
If one of them came over here, trt, should we do the same back? Or should we act in a British way, according to British society and British values?
You idiot.

TCL is right....we have no customs to adhere to when walking into one of our churches.
In actual fact we have or we did, who knows everything seems to have flown out of the window regarding respect in this country.
I refer to the custom of Females covering their heads when entering a CoE church.
Regarding foreigners abiding to our customs, no I don't think they do.
I draw attention to a post I posted in the past, and that concerned a British soldier who also happened to be a Sikh.
He was chosen to be a pall-bearer on the arrival back to England of a dead soldier.
All the other five pall-bearers had removed their caps out of respect for the dead, but the Sikh did not remove his turban.
Wouldn't that have been the ultimate show of respect if he chosen to override his religious custom out of respect for his dead colleague.

Do you think that a cap and a turban are equivalent in terms of what they mean?
Seriously?
I know I'm indulging in a bit of reductio ad absurdum here, but if you consider a turban to be as meaningless as a cap, then why don't nuns wear hot pants and halter tops?
