It cuts the first line at off after 'hugely from'. And I'm clearly not the only one.
Jake - yes I appreciate these businesses are no longer in UK hands - but they were reasonable businesses when sold for the market price, the private sector risk-takers managed to make more money for their shareholders from their privatisation - shareholders that also included the Government.
I just don't see the point of selling a really simple business that must be pumping a shed-load of money into the Treasury right now. The deficit has to be made up somewhere from the revenue line.
