Would you now buy one of these "Must have" toys for your child?

Or if you have already managed to obtain one of these toys, will you be asking for a refund?

Must have toys? I've seen them on telly and they look cheap and don't even seem to work very well.
Whereas normally the must have toy for each year is expensive and doesn't work very well.

I did ponder getting one way back in November, but then I promptly forgot about it. Guess I won't be bothering now afterall.

incidently, what I find more frustrating and annoying with toys is the bloody packaging, not to mention the endless ties holding them on to the box and sometimes...screws!!
Moral of the story: don't suck a hamster.
zac - would be interested in your findings as have one for a niece - thanks

If there is any credence behind this story, I can't imagine why the toy hasn't been recalled.
the makers are standing behind the toy - what paper was the story in ?
'Elf and safety gone mad.
Antimony scare aside, it does bother me that children may assume that real live hamsters can be looked after in a similar way - an 'on demand' pet that can be left without attention when not required.
Maybe your only at danger if you suck twenty or forty hamsters a day for several years?
Goodguide I heard are now admitting that they used a different type of test which is why the product is not being recalled. Manufactureres are saying that they regularly carry out tests on batches and the toy is safe.
