The little boy on the news yesterday, three thugs burgled his house while he was in a wheelchair and ummm 'stole his Christmas presents'. Is it a sob story so everyone will feel sorry for him and send money .. (he was cute though). And where was his mother during all this ?? Sorry to sound cynical, I know they arrested someone but they didnt find his christmas presents ... Hey ho ....

Not read the story, so can't comment fully on it, but to steal any presents be it a child who's medically not well or Mrs Joe Bloggs who's scrimped and saved all year for them is disgusting. I fail to see how it's any worse just because the child has spina bifida.

rofl, who me?

Why?

SWurely it's a dispicable crime no matter who the poor unfortunate victim is, isn't it? Why is it any worse in this case?

It was on the Six o Clock London News last night, can't see any links anywhere else, maybe someone else can ?
I know at first to a lot of people smurfchops(may I call you chops,I hate typing) may seem mean an nasty, but it is just the world we live in today,a harsh place.Maybe it was a made up story,in which case everyone involved wont get a visit from Santa this year will they?
It's not nice to have your presents stolen. But the crime for me is the same regardless whether the presents were stolen from a disabled boy, an 80 year old woman, a family or Gordon Brown. Though in the latters case he could at least claim it on his expenses - '£24000 Burglary...insert items here'.
I found the story after a rather difficult and long search of London news sites.lol

It seems very genuine to me as the burglar was caught driving the family car which he stole at the same time as all the presents and electrical goods.
I saw this on the news - no I don't think its a sob story - but if anyone replaces his presents then good luck to him.

i would expect that their insurers will pay out. Plenty of time before xmas for it to be sorted.
I didn't steal his Christmas presents....How can you say that? You don't even know me....!! :-)
