Them muslims, again.
36 Answers
It seems to me that there is a loose consensus of opinion that many muslims do not like, love or support Britain or British values.
It appears we have an enemy within, a fifth column almost, these people are stabbing us in the back trying to make us lose the war, maybe we should bring the troops back home and have them patrol the streets of Britain weaviling out this pernicious enemy?
But, how could they be identified, maybe the government should design a badge, and all muslims should wear this badge to show their loyalty.
Agree or disagree?

123everton, you are unfortunately right: the demonising of outsiders as traitors and fifth columnists is not at all a new idea. I'm a bit baffled by it all; it simply doesn't seem to bear any relation to the Muslims I've come across, whether it's the cheerful chaps at the chemist shop, the polite young men who stand up for ladies on the tube, or the women I used to have a drink with after work (yes, alcohol). I sometimes wonder if any of those protesting at Muslims' wickedness actually know many of them. If the answer is yes, that makes it even harder to understand.
There is at least one other "enemy within" by your reckoning 123everton ...me.
I don't particularly support "Britain or British values" and I was born here.
I support one or two of them but I don't believe I am obliged to or that I should 'f*ck off out of here if you don't like it' (as some may say).
"all muslims should wear this badge to show their loyalty".
So you think ALL Muslims are a potential "enemy within"? How many have you actually spent time with - closely? Time enough to get to know them personally.
Sorry 123e -but you are generalising IMO.
So: Disagree.

I would actually prefer that trt's post was left here.
Some may find it offensive, but I prefer to have it around to refer back to on occasion.
By the way 123everton - agree or disagree? I disagree, and I assume your whole question is tongue in cheek, because it's...it's...it's just a daft proposition.

Radicals are obvious with the beards & caps........here's a start; they're banned & members of Islam4UK can be imprisoned.

//It's nice to see the majority of people, on this question at least, recognise the demonising of Muslims for what it is, a racist, ignorant and stupid argument.//
Yes, I agree with you...BUT...that isn't the main problem, which is to try and sort out Islamic fundamentalists murdering innocent men, women and children from the rest of the community. With limited resources, it would be sensible to profile.......that is to concentrate on the Muslim community. This is not racism, but sensible pragmatism, sensitive, but these are difficult and dangerous times in which we live.
No, I would not agree with overt physical "tagging".
