Just because one recent terrorist came from Yemen, should the government ban direct flights from Yemen to Britain?

Banning direct flights from anywhere doesn't stop terrorists travelling indirectly.It may hinder, though why any terrorist would wish to be so obviously from a place known for terrorists is not clear, but not prevent a terrorist.
Can one see the reasoning when there been cutbacks in counter-terrorism programmes in Pakistan?
