Discouraging smoking
Why are they tinkering at the edges with this plain packaging h0rsh1t? Make them £100 a pack! and add £10 each budget, sorted! Most kids can't afford that we extract a load more tax from the addicts. Ok it'll increase bootlegging but so what most smokers still have to buy full price ones at some point! The wisdom of the Geezer is strong today!

The governement has a stated aim of reducing this disgusting anti social habit that's what I'm talking about, can you not get your thick heads around that? Yes bootlegging will increase but believe me rasing the cost will work, does anyone know a smoker who can get bootlegg 100% of the time? May I reiterate that smoking is not a net contributor to taxes, it is estimated that direct and indirect costs add up to 20 billion, they put in 6billion now with my price increase taking into account a 50% reduction in sales to be pessimistic, assuming £4 per pack is tax, then the tax take would become £75 billion now we could use that!
putting the price of fags up is causing a bigger problem. the low paid person who wants a fag will buy the lowest priced ones that he/she can get.there are a lot of snide ones being sold.

the moonshine may make you blind
the snide cig will give you bad chest. sooner rather than later

" non-smokers can't resist a snide remark as they pass by. What is their problem? "
its only the same as when people feel he need to make snide comments if they see a fat person eating in a mcdonalds or an old person "dressing young" or an older man with a younger woman and vice versa. society as a whole is judgemental.
